Google calender is an excellent way for friends and family member to organize and follow one anothers schedule. My wife and I can co-ordinate the girls schedules easily on the calender and that calender is visible to both our parents. This allows us to both put on information without constanly communicating on the phone. This would be nice to use in the classroom so you can present lecture concepts and assignment due dates in real time. This way both the students and their parents could feasibly have an access to your classroom calender whenever they have access to the internet. I am not sure that I would use the Picaso application, due to the fact that I seldom take pictures, but pictures of classroom activities of field trips could be uploaded for parents to view.
